When we scan your slides, we use the latest
technology to get the best results possible.
- First, each slide is dusted to
remove any loose surface debris.
- Next, the slides are scanned in our
latest
technology digital scanner.
Standard scanning
resolution is 2000 DPI ! (watch out for
cheap
slide scanning solutions... if you ever
want
to make prints from your slides, they
must be
high-resolution scans)
- Each image is analyzed, and treated
with two
latest-technology enhancements:
- Digital-ICE removes dust
and debris from your
image; and
- Digital-ROC helps restore
fading and
lost
colors.
- Your images are archived to CD or
DVD, and
your original slides are returned
unharmed.

If slides are stored in aluminum mounts
(as some
slide projectors required), we suggest you
remove
from the mounts before bringing them to us,
otherwise a 20% additional charge is
required.
If slides are in carousels or slide
trays, we will replace them in roughly the
same order. If precise order and
alignment is required, please add 20%
additional.
