Price includes 300
dpi scan of your photos, and archiving
them on CD or DVD (your choice).
300 dpi resolution is high enough to
provide beautiful prints the same size
as the original should you ever decide
to print them. If you foresee
printing larger prints than the original
size, consider our 600dpi scanning for
50% additional cost.
A few notes:
- Photos must be
removed from frames and albums, and
free of glue, tape, stickie-notes,
or anything else that might
interfere with our
equipment.
- They should all
be oriented face up.
- Photos larger
than 8x10 or smaller than 3.5x5 will
require special handling and be
subject to additional charges.
- Stiff mounted
photos or Polaroid photos will not
feed through our scanning
equipment and will require special
handling at additional costs.
- Photos will be
scanned roughly in the order you
provide, but not necessarily exactly
in that order.
- Scanned photos
will not necessarily be oriented
(rotated) right-side-up on the CD.
In other words, photos on your CD
may be vertical instead of
horizontal, or in some cases
upside-down. This will not
affect the archival quality of the
photos, or your ability to make
beautiful prints from the scans.
We will be happy to rotate your
photos for an additional 25% charge.
In addition to your
scans, you may want to consider the
following options:
- 4x6 index prints
of all your photos for $0.39/print.
Each print will have 40 tiled images
for quick review or searching of
your images. (see our note above
regarding orientation of the
photos... index prints may not be
oriented properly.)
- 4x6 prints of
each of your photos for only $0.25
cents each.
- Large 8.5x11
pages with
12 images on each page for $0.99 per
page. (see our note above regarding
orientation of the photos... index
prints may not be oriented
properly.)
